Dr. Coburn Opposes Public Lands Package Included in Defense Bill

Dr. Coburn sent a letter opposing the inclusion of a public lands package in the unrelated National Defense Authorization Act. This would be the largest park expansion in a single measure by Congress since 1978, despite an unsustainable $12 billion deferred maintenance backlog in our existing National Park System.
