Amendment to require the Inspector General of the Federal Housing Finance Agency to investigate and report on the activities of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Nowhere in this bill is there any attempt to address the underlying causes of the current housing and economic crisis. In particular, this Congress should review the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
