(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK) today sent a letterto the Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan questioning the progress of the $60.4 billion Hurricane Sandy aid package Congress passed at the beginning of the year.
In the letter, Dr. Coburn writes, “It has been nearly 10 months since disaster aid was appropriated, and I am troubled by the fact that so little money has reached the people who need it.”
