Cottage Grove gateway arch to become a reality

A new gateway arch will be installed at the entry to the Cottage Grove Downtown Historic District on March 12 at 8 a.m.
An Archway Ribbon Cutting Celebration is planned for Saturday, March 17, at 11 a.m. downtown.
For decades, the Cottage Grove community has desired to place a gateway arch in this location. Now the dream has become a reality, the Cottage Grove Community Development Corporation said.
The project has been made possible by the USDA Rural Development, Rural Business Enterprise Grant (RBEG), local foundations and two local utility companies.
The CGCDC is collaborating with Emerald People’s Utility District (EPUD) and Lane Electric Cooperative for the installation of the arch.
