Senator Coburn to Testify at House Committee on Oversight and Governmental Reform Hearing Today on Annual GAO Report Addressing Duplication & Overlap in the Federal Government

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK) will be testifying at the House Committee on Oversight and Governmental Reform led by Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) at a hearing today entitled, “Government 2.0: GAO Unveils New Duplicative Program Report”. The hearing will focus on an annual report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) released today highlighting duplication and cost savings recommendations throughout the federal government.
